Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has announced the launch of a loyalty program called Recharge with Wyndham, aimed at truck drivers in the United States and Canada. The program was launched on March 27, 2025. Program participants will be able to accumulate twice as many points for each stay in Wyndham hotels.

 

Under the program, drivers are automatically awarded Gold status at Wyndham Rewards, which entitles them to various benefits, including the possibility of a later check-out. This initiative is part of the larger Wyndham Business program, which was launched in 2024 to support business travelers.

 

Drivers whose employers are members of the program can receive up to two free nights of accommodation per year. Wyndham estimates that there are about 4 million drivers in the United States and Canada who need comfortable conditions for recreation.

The aim of this initiative is to attract drivers by offering them amenities such as dedicated truck parking. The program also takes into account the need for drivers to comply with mandatory rest hours, helping them recover and follow the established rules.
